Overview:
The CTS sedan enters its third generation new inside and
out; the coupe and wagon carry over from 2013. It’s longer yet leaner,
with a stiffer structure and more lightweight materials. There’s
chiseled sheetmetal and an upscale interior; engines include a 2.0-liter
turbo four, an optional 3.6-liter V-6, and a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V-6
in the Vsport. Rear-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is
optional. It’s the best-handling car in the segment, helping it earn a
spot on our 10Best list.
